How to Install WordPress

Log into cPanel

Open your cPanel control panel via the link in your activation email (typically yoursite.com/cpanel or yoursite.com:2083). Enter username and password. If you do not have a hosting account, register with BeoHosting and you will receive credentials within minutes.

Open Softaculous Apps Installer

In cPanel find the "Software" section and click "Softaculous Apps Installer". A library of 400+ web applications opens — WordPress is featured first.

Select WordPress and click Install

On the Softaculous home page, click the WordPress logo, then the blue "Install Now" button. The installation wizard opens with all configuration options.

Configure installation parameters

Pick the protocol (https:// for a site with SSL), the domain you are installing on, and the directory (leave empty to install on the main domain). In the "Site Settings" section, enter the site name and tagline.

Pick language and theme

In the "Choose Language" section pick English (or your locale). In "Select Theme" you can leave the default or pick from the included starter themes. You can change the theme later from the WordPress admin.

Click Install and wait

Check all parameters and click "Install" at the bottom of the page. Softaculous automatically creates the database, configures wp-config.php and installs WordPress — the whole process takes 30-60 seconds.

Access the WordPress admin
